Vaginal
Yeast Infection
Vaginal yeast infection is caused by a
microorganism living in the genitourinary tract called Candida Albicans. It is a yeast-like microorganism and
not a bacteria.
Although yeast infection happens in the
vaginal or vulva area, it should be differentiated from trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis. Trichomoniasis
is a vaginal infection caused by parasitic protozoa, whereas bacterial vaginosis as its name suggests is caused
by bacteria.
Another type of yeast infection is known
as cyclic vulvovaginitis. It causes a recurrent pain, itching and burning sensation when you are in the
menstrual period.
Treatment for Vaginal Yeast
Infection
Vaginal yeast infection is conventionally
treated with Monistat or prescribed medication like Diflucan, Gynazole, Terazol or Nizoral. In most cases,
conventional medication will help to relieve you of the symptoms, but do not completely get rid of the vaginal
yeast infection. You will soon experience the recurrent infection and all the painful and irritating symptoms
will be back again.
If you want a permanent and complete cure
from yeast infection, then you might want to consider a more holistic approach.
I have a book written by Linda Allen. She
has designed a holistic and natural program that has effectively help yeast infection sufferers to get rid of
this problem once and for all. You might want to take a look at what Linda’s program can offer
